Tram line B will take you in less than 15 minutes from the hotel (tram stop Victor Hugo) to the central train station and from there to the workshop location Minatec (tram stop Cité Internationale). Tickets can be bought at vending machines at the tram stops (cash or credit card). 

You may even walk the distance in about 25 minutes:
